On the Mekong, Vietnam – 27 June 2007

We now sit upon a small boat on an estuary at the mouth’s end of the Mekong River. We just watched how ‘Coconut Candy” was made and had a nice lunch. There are 3 Irish girls and 4 British Guys on the tour with us, all of us making our way to Phnom Penh tomorrow. It was kind of funny to contrast the town we were at in this way, but it resembled Venice in a more dilapidated form. We are now heading back to our bus on the mainland where we are going to another village, 2 hours away.

Last instalment of the day next week!
